After moving to North Carolina in 2008, I am happy to call Chatham County home. I am a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church and am excited to have the opportunity to serve as Preschool Minister. I love the small town feeling of Pittsboro and our extended family at church and preschool. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Services from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS with a concentration in Psychology, including Early Childhood Development, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Psychology of the Family. Being the Preschool Minister gives me the opportunity to serve your family and to be an outreach to the community through our church and preschool.

My husband and I moved to the Pittsboro area from Elizabeth City over seven years ago. We have 2 sons that have attended preschool at PBP. Our oldest is now in elementary school and our youngest is in the 3's class here. I really enjoy the energy and spirits of the children and look forward to sharing in all the experiences this new year will bring. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I have lived in North Carolina since 2004. I currently live in Pittsboro with my husband and daughter. I graduated from Longwood University in Farmville, VA with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and an endorsement to teach nursery and elementary school. Prior to having my daughter, I worked as a kindergarten teacher in Alamance County for seven years. I was born and raised in Danville PA, and as the youngest of 9 children I have been around large hectic groups of people almost my entire life! I attended Eastern University in Philadelphia, PA and am a certified massage therapist. I got married in 2006 and immediately moved to NC with my husband Brett to enjoy the weather and the outdoors. I now have three wonderful children ages 6, 4 and 2. All three have gone to or currently go to Pittsboro Baptist Preschool. In my few precious moments of free time, I enjoy being outdoor either running or camping with my family.

My husband Joey and I live here in Pittsboro. We have a daughter who will be entering Sixth grade this fall. I will be starting my 7th year teaching at PBP. I love to walk and talk as HE, my Lord and Savior, would want me and I feel this reflects positively on the students that I work with. I enjoy each and every child that comes into my classroom.

I am a NC native and have lived in Pittsboro for over 10 years. I am a graduate of NCSU (Go Pack!) and worked in the corporate world as a Financial Systems Analyst until 2006. Since then, I have been a stay-at-home mom to my two boys who have both attended Pittsboro Baptist Preschool. This past year, I was a substitute teacher at PBP and had the pleasure of working with many wonderful staff members and children. I discovered how much I enjoy working with children and how much they look up to their teachers. It is for these reasons, that I look forward to my first year as an Asst. Teacher at PBP. I am very excited about working with such a talented group and look forward to teaching your wonderful children!

Hi y'all! My family moved to Chatham County, all the way from the Micronesian Islands in the South Pacific when I was 8 years old, so I guess I’m pretty much a native Chathamite! I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA Political Science. I am married to an awesome husband, Jeff, and have two active, fun boys. My oldest attended PBPS and my youngest is now here. Prior to starting a family, I worked for a consulting company and I stopped working after the birth of our first son to become an unpaid nurse, teacher, chef and chauffeur (aka “stay-at-home-mom”). I’m so excited to be Miss Stacy’s assistant this year! My family and I are members of Summit Church’s Chapel Hill Campus. I am thankful every day for Jesus’s grace and love of me and am looking forward to sharing Jesus’s amazing love with all of our beautiful children at PBPS!

I have been with the PBP for seven years in both Lead Teacher and Assistant capacities. I enjoy working in the preschool setting. The children are such a delight to work with. Their eyes just light up when they learn something new, so full of energy and God's gifts. I have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Hannah. We have two dogs Molly and Bella and a "cranky cat" named Tigger. He too jumps like the real Tigger. We love animals, being outside, old movies and music. I have a degree in Recreation Therapy and Parks. We are active members of All Saints Anglican Church where I help in preschool Sunday School.

After spending 10 years home with my own children, a joined the staff at Pittsboro Baptist Preschool in 2010. My children attended Pittsboro Baptist Preschool and now attend Silk Hope School and Chatham Charter School. My wonderful husband is a PhD and assistant professor working on research at UNC. It was his job that brought us to North Carolina from Texas in 2007. We love what the Lord has done in our lives since bringing us here. We miss the Lone Star State and our family there (and beef BBQ and TexMex), but feel blessed to be raising our family in Chatham County.
